Cookie Policy

Notice. This document is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney for your jurisdiction before relying on it.

This Cookie Policy explains how snapconvrt (“we”, “our”, or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies onhttps://snapconvrt.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with ourPrivacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners. Similar technologies include local storage, which stores small values in your browser.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the Site to function properly. These identify your anonymous conversion session and device so we can track credits, enforce the daily free-conversion limit, and protect the Site from abuse. They cannot be disabled if you want to use the Site.
  • Functionality storage: Remembers your preferences and settings, such as your light/dark theme choice.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. We use a privacy-preserving analytics tool (PostHog) to understand which converters are used and where the flow breaks, but we run it in a cookieless, anonymous mode: it setsno cookies and writes nothing to your device’s storage, builds no user profile, and is not used for advertising. See “Analytics” below.

All cookies we set are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested — running your anonymous conversion session, enforcing the free-conversion limit, and protecting the Site from bots. Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent. Our analytics stores no information on your device (no cookies, no local storage) and builds no profile, so it does not require consent under those rules either — which is why we do not display a cookie-consent banner. Your theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to us.

3. Types of cookies we use

Session cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when your anonymous session ends.
Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

PostHog analyticsAnalytics — no cookie, no local storage (cookieless, in-memory only)Anonymous, aggregate product analytics (which converters are used, funnel drop-off). Sets nothing on your device and builds no profile.Nothing stored on your device

4. Third-party services

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. We rely on two third-party technologies:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile, set by our infrastructure provider Cloudflare for the strictly necessary purpose of distinguishing humans from bots and protecting the Site from automated abuse. To do this, Cloudflare may process signals such as your IP address, user-agent, and a TLS fingerprint; see Cloudflare’sTurnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • PostHog (EU region) for cookieless, anonymous product analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, builds no user profile, and your IP address is discarded after an approximate country is derived. SeePostHog’s privacy policy.

5. Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can:

  • Delete existing cookies
  • Block future cookies
  • Set your browser to notify you when cookies are sent

Note: The scs and sca cookies and Turnstile are required for the Site to function — if you disable them, conversions and credits will not work.
